REPORTS TO: Director of Training

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Trains and enforces standards using company's policies and procedures.
• Advises the General Manager concerning operations and maintenance of food, restaurant and customer service standards.
• Plans, organizes, prioritizes, coordinates and implements trainees' daily work schedules.
• Oversee orientation, coaching and development initiatives.
• Processes new hire paperwork and ensures it is completed and delivered timely to Human Resources.
• Manages the Training Book for the company.
• Conducts weekly evaluations.
• Administers and grades tests.
• Reviews and manages attendance records.
• Follow-up with trainees after their assignments.
• Communicate with all departments to ensure initiatives and tasks run smoothly.
• Delegate and resolve conflict.
• Oversee safe security.
• Make deposits.
• Manage documentation processes ensuring all materials are distributed timely to Departments and their Department Heads.
• Provide customer service skills and thorough knowledge of all restaurant operations, including the ability to perform and train in every position.
• Required to work 50 hours per work week, and will be in the field the majority of the time.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Operate the register system and restaurant equipment.
• Troubleshoot restaurant operations and equipment problems.
• Adhere to safe food practices as well as the company's food quality standards.
• Possess strong organizational planning and follow-up skills.

EDUCATION:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. College degree, or college classes in business and/or management related subjects preferred.
